An Invitation from Summer is a signed, numbered limited edition print of 12 printed in Payne’s grey ink on natural white, Okawara Japanese paper. Prints will have a mix of straight, torn and deckled edges.

Inspired by the tree-lined paths and avenues of Clara-Zetkin Park in Leipzig, this piece is an ode to a quiet refuge in the heart of the city. At the height of summer, when the heat settles over Leipzig’s streets, the heavy canopy becomes a cool, green shelter where time seems to slow and the air feels easier to breathe.

On summer evenings, as the shadows lengthen and the light softens, the hum of the city fades. Conversations drift like birdsong and, through the trees, the river catches the last light of the day and becomes a silver thread winding through the green. Moonlit paths trace quiet lines through the shadows.

These are the small, fleeting moments that slip away as the seasons turn. This print seeks to hold these summer memories, to give form to what can pass all too quickly.

Sold unframed.

I use non-toxic oil-based inks that can be washed away without the use of solvents. These inks provide longevity and vibrant colour as well as offering a safer working environment.

Please note: the pictures are to illustrate design and colour. Due to the nature of the printing process, all prints have slight variations in depth of colour and placement.

Prints may be printed to order & could therefore take a couple of weeks to be printed & to dry, please allow for time when you order.

Prints are carefully packaged in a postal tube using recycled and recyclable materials. Please be aware that orders outside of the EU may be subject to import tax or custom handling fees on delivery.
